Anybody nowadays can go online and download a workout, and go and do it, but are you going to push yourself as hard as you would if you had a motivated team pushing you through each exercise?
2. Professional guidance
Have a health and fitness professional programming each session, and ensuring you are performing each exercise with correct form which is going to prevent injury, so you can stay fit and healthy for longer.
3. Great camaraderie
Become part of group who also socialise outside of Bootcamp. From Obstacle course races together, to fun runs, Bootcamp groups also like to get together and enjoy a few drinks especially in the summer and of course Christmas.
Each session is approached as a team, and the goal is to make sure every member has a great, safe, and satisfying workout. Workout with guys who put 100% effort in every week and inspire others to do the same.
5. Workout with people who can empathise with your situation
If you think you’re not going to have the confidence to go along and get stuck in, then don’t worry, Bootcamp is full of people who have been where you are right now, and they all know how you’re feeling, and they are more than willing help and encourage you to fulfil your potential.
6. Learn to push yourself outside your comfort zone
“You get out of Bootcamp what you put in” is a phrase I like to use. I’ve seen first-hand the rewards people get through attending Bootcamp sessions regularly, but these haven’t happened overnight, they have been earnt through hard work and consistency. Bootcamp is there to help you achieve what you want. You can be told what you need to do, motivated and pushed and even helped to do it, but you, and you alone, have to actually do it.
7. Gain the confidence to do great things
I know Boot-campers who have gained so much confidence in their fitness and abilities through regularly attending Bootcamp sessions that they have gone on to summit Mount Snowdon in North Wales, and Scafell Pike in the Lake District together, a fantastic achievement for each and every one of them.
8. Get out into nature and enjoy some you time
Have a few hours a week dedicated to you and improving your health and quality of life. No phone or tablet, just you the fresh air and good old mother nature.
9. Improve your fitness and strength
Bootcamp is a mixture of high intensity cardio and strength work. By regularly working your cardiovascular system you will increase your fitness and improve the health of your heart. Regular strength work will increase your strength and give you a more toned look.
10. Lose weight and gain an insight into good nutritional habits
It’s a well-known fact that exercising consistently contributes massively to weight loss, add some good nutritional habits to this and you will get results faster. At Bootcamp you have a health and fitness professional to offer nutritional advice and you also have people who have been through a weight loss journey and people who are going through one, we all share our knowledge and talk about the things that worked for us. This is a great opportunity to pick up some good nutritional habits. Every session is a learning session.
